A March Networks Case Study
The Gentry Public School District, a K-12 district in Arkansas serving 1,400 students, sought to implement a video surveillance system to improve student safety and security across its four campuses. The district partnered with vendor March Networks and its certified solution provider, Fleming Network Services, to find a cutting-edge solution that would meet their needs, which included the ability for administrators to review video remotely on their iPads.
March Networks implemented a solution using its 8000 Series hybrid recorders, Command Enterprise video management software, IP cameras, and its Cloud service. This allowed administrators and the school resource officer to view live and recorded video from any location on mobile devices. The integrated system, which recorded from 90 cameras, provided 30 days of video retention, streamlined incident investigation, and created a significantly safer environment for students, a result that was strongly supported by the community.
