Case Study: Aircelle achieves faster, more efficient printing with Maintel's managed print solution

A Maintel Case Study

Preview of the Aircelle Case Study

Replacement of Aircelle’s generic MFDs with the latest Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE MFDs

Aircelle, a global designer and manufacturer of engine housings, had outgrown its existing print environment as its Burnley site expanded. Working with vendor Maintel, the company was dealing with multiple print agreements, inconsistent device types, and slow generic MFDs that were causing bottlenecks, especially in goods inwards where high-volume label printing was delaying production.

Maintel consolidated Aircelle’s print estate into a single contract and standardized the devices, replacing the bulk of generic MFDs with Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE MFDs and adding specialist high-volume mono printers, a dedicated scanner with Canon eCopy software, and an upgraded UniFLOW environment with mobile printing. The result was simpler administration, improved usability, and up to a 60% reduction in printing time, plus at least 11% annual savings on support costs and faster scanning at up to 40ppm.
