Denbighshire County Council, the governing body for the principal area of Denbighshire in North Wales, faced growing demand for services and concerns about continuity as its ageing infrastructure became harder to support. Maintel provided an audit and technical consultancy to assess the council’s network needs and future infrastructure design.

Maintel then designed and upgraded the council’s core infrastructure with Cisco network technology, including high-capacity core switches and newer edge switches, and managed implementation through to final acceptance testing and transition to operations. The result was a platform able to support projected user demand for the next five years, with continuity risks removed and ongoing support delivered under a single SLA and single point of ownership.
