Consolidating a complex print estate by implementing uniFLOW Output Manager

Imagile Group, a UK-based asset and fund management company with 200+ staff across 13 office locations, worked with Maintel to solve major printing and access issues as its workforce became more distributed. Employees struggled to move print jobs between printers or sites without IT help, and the company’s 18 print queues created delays, frustration, and security concerns.

Maintel implemented uniFLOW Output Manager across 20 Canon imageRUNNER machines, using Imagile Group’s WAN to consolidate printing into a single secure print queue and integrating print release with existing building access controls. The new setup also enabled mobile and email-based printing and simplified scanning, delivering a seamless rollout, improved end-user experience, full visibility of print usage, and significant time savings for IT, which now manages one queue instead of 18.
