Margaret Vera, a leather accessories brand founded by Meg Vera Councilman, wanted to use Facebook advertising to grow its audience and drive traffic to its site. Working with Mailchimp and its Facebook Ads integration, the brand launched its first paid social campaigns with a modest budget and a focus on brand awareness and list growth.

Mailchimp helped Margaret Vera run two one-week Facebook ad campaigns: one built around a lookalike audience and brand-focused copy, and another targeting women interested in comparable retail brands with a promotional offer. The campaigns reached 56,701 people, sent 890 visitors to the site, and grew the Mailchimp subscriber list by almost 8%, giving the brand new contacts to nurture through email and social media.
