How Patasbox Grew Healthy Dog Food & Treat Sales by 49%

Patasbox, a Madrid-based monthly subscription service for organic dog food and treats, faced a sudden pandemic-driven surge in demand that strained supply planning, logistics, and the need to keep customers engaged and retained. To manage communications and targeting they relied on Mailchimp’s CRM and segmentation tools and complemented email outreach with Instagram campaigns and creative activations.

By using Mailchimp segmentation to send tailored messages and combining that with Instagram initiatives (a branded filter and the live “Patasfest”), Patasbox drove measurable growth: email engagement rose 24% in the first lockdown month, revenue grew 49%, transactions increased 21%, and average order value nearly 23%; the Instagram filter was shared 125k times and about 3,000 people attended Patasfest—results the team attributes to Mailchimp-enabled marketing and social efforts.
