Jittery Joe’s, an Athens, Georgia–based coffee brand that has grown to 12 local locations and expanded as far as Tennessee and Japan, needed to scale beyond its college‑town roots without losing the personal connections that keep customers loyal. Using Mailchimp, Jittery Joe’s built a single primary subscriber list, applied tags to create interest‑based segments, and combined campaign reports with their Shopify integration to track revenue impact. The result was more personalized, targeted email campaigns, an online subscription offering to retain customers who move away, and measurable insights (campaign performance shown in dollar amounts and visibility into cross‑product purchases) that supported expansion while keeping the brand’s local connection.
