BioRepublic, a small skincare brand focused on clean, cruelty-free sheet masks, needed to build awareness and credibility early on while reaching the right beauty shoppers. Using Mailchimp, the company looked to turn product sampling into a way to grow a loyal customer base and drive future sales.

With Mailchimp supporting its marketing efforts, BioRepublic partnered with sampling channels like Birchbox and Ipsy to put products directly into the hands of potential buyers and pair samples with content and social campaigns. The results were strong: within its first six months, BioRepublic ran two sampling campaigns, including 20,000 units through Birchbox, and quickly started getting inbound interest from retailers such as Bloomingdale’s and Wynn Las Vegas.
