AdHoc, a Brooklyn-based music publication and concert promoter, needed to grow beyond its local base while keeping a community-first approach. To scale ticketing and audience outreach efficiently, they turned to Mailchimp, using Mailchimp’s Marketing CRM with tags and the Eventbrite integration to better manage contacts and target fans.
Mailchimp’s Eventbrite integration automatically synced ticket buyers into Mailchimp and applied genre, location, and past-show tags, enabling targeted campaigns; as a result AdHoc saw 93% audience growth, a 100% increase in newsletter opens, and 26% more opens from tag-based campaigns. Mailchimp’s tools also drove nearly all regional additions (95% NY, 96% MI, 99% NC) and helped AdHoc steadily improve open and click rates over a year and a half.
