Verint Systems needed to replace two legacy tools with a single XML-based solution that could improve content reuse, simplify delivery of guides, and make web documentation more responsive for users. The company also wanted to strengthen collaboration among its global writers while reducing the manual effort involved in producing PDFs and online help.

Verint Systems implemented MadCap Software’s MadCap Flare native XML single-source, multi-channel authoring software. With Flare, the team now publishes more than 170 PDF guides and multiple Help sets from one project, cuts publishing times from hours to seconds, and uses Microsoft TFS integration for version control. MadCap Software also enabled responsive HTML5 output, easier customization with variables and snippets, and a more efficient workflow for Verint’s international writing team.
