Intelerad, a Montreal-based healthcare and medical device company, needed a better way to meet growing demand for modernized PDF and online help documentation while keeping content consistent across outputs. Its team had been using structured FrameMaker, but wanted a more flexible authoring and content management approach that could support frequent software releases and multiple documentation formats.

Intelerad implemented MadCap Software’s MadCap Flare, along with MadCap Capture and MadCap Lingo, to manage single-source publishing, translation, screenshots, and diagrams. The team used conditions, snippets, TOCs, and topic-based authoring to improve consistency and collaboration, and reduced production time from two weeks to less than one week, cutting project time by more than 50 percent.
