FOX Racing Shox Modernizes Online User Manuals and Service Website Using MadCap Flare

FOX Racing Shox, a manufacturing company based in Watsonville, CA, wanted to modernize its web-based documentation for its Bicycle Division. The team needed a more consistent user experience, better project efficiency, and support for Asian and other double-byte character set language localization, and turned to MadCap Software’s MadCap Flare.

Using MadCap Software’s MadCap Flare native XML authoring tool with full Unicode support, FOX Racing Shox converted legacy RoboHelp content, created a master style sheet, and published online manuals and service site content in seven languages. The company said Flare improved consistency, simplified development and translation, and allowed legacy content to be brought online within a day.
