A MadCap Software Case Study
EzGlobe, a full-service localization company, needed a way to deliver a consistent user experience across European and Asian languages while keeping projects on time and reducing the extra engineering work caused by Adobe RoboHelp workarounds. The company evaluated MadCap Software’s Flare after finding that its previous tool did not support Asian languages well enough for its localization work.
MadCap Software’s MadCap Flare gave EzGlobe native XML authoring, Unicode support, compatibility with most computer-aided translation tools, and reusable Snippets for consistent content. EzGlobe said Flare eliminated the workarounds needed for Japanese localization, improved output quality, and is expected to cut project engineering time by at least 30 percent while lowering localization costs across all seven languages.
