St. Paul’s Collegiate School embraces digital transformation with M-Files for efficient records management

St. Paul’s Collegiate School, a leading independent secondary school in Hamilton, New Zealand with around 800 students, struggled under an overflowing, paper-based records system. Physical storage limits, slow document retrieval, compliance risks and an inability to support remote work made managing student and historical records increasingly inefficient and insecure.

Working with DocSmart Solutions, the school implemented M-Files and integrated it with PCSchool via Wonde to digitize and tag existing records, automate metadata and enable intelligent search. The result: reclaimed physical space, much faster document access, stronger access controls and auditability, reduced risk of data loss, and a scalable foundation to keep all future records digital.
