Schera GmbH is a family‑owned German textile manufacturer of high‑quality women’s pants (shipping over 800,000 pairs annually) with more than 100 employees. Facing fragmented paper and digital records across folder structures and Syska accounting software, the company struggled with slow searches, information silos, manual invoice handling, and limited transparency and security — so they set a goal to digitize accounting and improve integrations to shorten search times and reduce errors.

Working with M‑Files partner DMSFACTORY, Schera implemented a metadata‑driven ECM connected to Syska (via a custom interface), OCR scanning for paper invoices, and automated approval workflows. The centralized platform replaced paper routing, sped up information access, expanded into product development and HR processes, enabled controlled tax office access, and delivered leaner, more transparent workflows — positioning Schera for continued growth and operational efficiency.
