Harwood Andrews, the largest law firm in Victoria with around 170 people and part of Lantern Legal Group, is a progressive regional firm focused on delivering commercial solutions for clients. As client expectations and retention became more important, the firm faced frustrations from slow document delivery and limited access—clients often had to wait for lawyers to send files, reducing transparency and straining relationships.

In April 2017 Harwood Andrews deployed M-Files Hubshare via partner Nikec Solutions to create customizable, easy-to-build client portals with templates and a wizard-driven setup. The portal eliminated large email chains, made large-file sharing and real-time document updates simple, reduced IT dependency, freed lawyers from administrative requests, and improved client transparency and engagement.
