JAL Successfully Conveying Corporate Messages to More than 36,000 Employees

Japan Airlines, Japan’s flag carrier, needed a better internal portal to communicate corporate messages to more than 36,000 employees across its global workforce. As digital transformation increased the amount and variety of information shared internally, JAL wanted a solution that would make it easy for communication managers to organize and publish content while still providing secure, easy access across devices. With its previous system reaching end of support, the airline turned to LumApps and its intranet / connected employee hub platform.

LumApps provided JAL with a new intranet solution featuring content management, native search, multi-device support, and strong security capabilities. The goal was to create a beautiful, sophisticated, and easy-to-read employee homepage that would improve the daily experience for staff. The case study does not cite specific quantitative results, but it indicates that LumApps met JAL’s key requirements for a modern internal communications platform.
