Ryan Health, one of New York’s first federally qualified health centers, serves a large underserved and often uninsured population across multiple sites. To quickly fill schedules, connect patients to preventive care, and reach multilingual communities outside normal business hours, Ryan Health partnered with Luma Health’s patient engagement platform to provide 24/7 access and rapid outreach.

Luma Health co‑designed workflows with Ryan Health to deliver population health reminders (for mammograms, HIV screenings), automated waitlist offers, and multilingual messaging across 35 languages; 73% of patients responded to reminders sent in Spanish. These changes freed staff for translation and care navigation, improved schedule utilization, and drove more than $300,000 in additional revenue within six months through Luma Health’s solution.
