Lenovo migrated site search to Lucidworks Fusion (built on open-source Solr and Spark), using machine learning, business rules, query pipelines and behavior signals to personalize and automate ranking. Within the first full year, search-driven annual revenue rose 95%, relevancy (first-result clicks) improved over 55% in months, and click-through and bounce metrics on support pages markedly improved.
