ZipBooks is a small finance software startup that helps businesses send invoices and manage books without an accountant. VP of Marketing Brad Hanks needed a fast, clear way to plan and communicate feature priorities, wireframes and workflows—across designers, contractors and a distributed app developer—to accelerate user adoption while working with limited time and resources.

Using Lucidchart inside G Suite, ZipBooks built wireframes (including iPhone mockups), collaborated in real time, and stored diagrams in Google Drive and Docs for easy sharing and documentation. The result was faster development cycles, fewer back-and-forth emails, clearer contractor handoffs, and quicker consensus on features—saving the team time and effectively becoming an extension of their small staff.
