Yoder Lumber is a third‑generation, family‑owned manufacturer of Appalachian hardwoods that has grown to operate three locations. As customer expectations shifted toward highly specific orders and just‑in‑time delivery, the company faced shrinking lead times (previously 2–3 weeks, now sometimes only days) and needed a way to apply Lean Six Sigma principles across operations and train a largely nontechnical workforce.

Using Lucidchart, Yoder Lumber mapped manufacturing processes with collaborative flow diagrams and decision trees, making bottlenecks and cycle times visible and enabling leadership to edit processes live with employee input.
