Switch is a 40-person product accelerator led by Craig Walker that builds disruptive workplace tools, including the conference-calling service UberConference. Designing UberConference required charting complex if/then call flows and sharing detailed diagrams between product, engineering, and management, but their Visio-based desktop workflow made collaboration, online editing, and cross-platform access difficult and expensive.

Lucidchart’s cloud-based diagramming replaced Visio, providing real-time collaboration, easy edits and comments, Google Drive integration, and support for many diagram types. The team used it to scope features and align stakeholders faster, improving communication across engineering, HR, and sales and speeding product development—helping deliver features like caller visibility, transcripts, and selective muting while keeping documentation accessible and up to date.
