Lotame partnered with Dotdash.com on a travel ad campaign for Dotdash’s largest tour-operator client. The challenge was to increase the campaign’s click-through rate (CTR) as cost-efficiently as possible while meeting original behavioral and contextual targeting requirements and reaching the right audience.
Lotame used Audience Optimizer for lookalike modeling and to narrow the target audience, reducing ad waste and focusing on users most likely to convert. The result: an 84% lift in CTR (from 0.26% to 0.48%) and a 50% reduction in cost per unique user to $0.02, boosting engagement while lowering acquisition costs.
