Bupa Improves Healthcare Efficiency by Streamlining IT with LogicMonitor

Bupa, a large healthcare provider in Australia and New Zealand with 22,000 employees and over four million customers, faced fragmented monitoring after a series of acquisitions. Multiple tools across teams made network operations costly and inefficient, and the IT organization needed to consolidate monitoring to cut spend and improve incident management across about 900 on‑premises devices and cloud services.

Bupa chose LogicMonitor’s SaaS platform to replace three legacy tools (Cacti, Nagios, SolarWinds), deploying quickly (adding ~500 devices in 30 minutes) and integrating with ServiceNow. The consolidation automated incident creation and reporting, increased visibility for more IT teams, reduced manual effort, and now supports ~900 devices with plans to grow to ~1,200, delivering cost savings and improved operational efficiency.
