Vodafone, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, wanted to improve its digital presence and recover declining online search visibility during the pandemic. Many of its store profiles contained incorrect details or were owned by third parties, making it difficult to manage SEO and optimize how its locations appeared in search results. Vodafone used Localistico’s Location & Presence Management and Local Analytics tools to centralize control of more than 1,000 venues and better understand local performance.
With Localistico, Vodafone updated categories, descriptions, keywords, and venue information, while also claiming profiles and syncing changes from its internal store locator. The result was a 50% increase in total searches, including a 84% rise in direct searches and a 46% increase in discovery searches. Vodafone also gained better reporting, improved team involvement, and more actionable insights to support ongoing location management.
