Novotel, a busy urban hotel serving international business and leisure travelers, faced two challenges: they needed a way to improve individual guest experiences before checkout and lacked a method to engage non‑staying customers who used their restaurant and bar. To address this, Novotel partnered with Local Measure and implemented Pulse, a real‑time feedback tool.
Local Measure’s Pulse prompts guests to rate their stay when they log into the hotel WiFi and notifies staff immediately, enabling in‑stay recovery and feedback from bar/restaurant visitors as well. The trial delivered an average of 24 extra reviews per day, a two‑point improvement in total guest satisfaction in October year‑over‑year, and is projected to generate about 7,500 additional reviews annually.
