Saylent, a finance-focused business intelligence and data analytics provider, helps small and mid-sized banks and credit unions run targeted marketing campaigns but faced a slow, manual direct-mail process that hampered personalization and compliance-driven edits. To incorporate dynamic, timely direct mail into its new Engage marketing platform, Saylent integrated Lob’s API to bring print-and-mail capabilities into its multi-channel campaign workflows.

After a two-week integration, Lob enabled Engage to automate what had been 250–300 manually executed campaigns a year—work that previously took about six weeks each quarter and three staffers—eliminating the majority of manual tasks overnight. Lob’s API allowed small-batch, dynamically personalized mailings, instant proofing and edits to satisfy compliance, address verification to remove invalid addresses, and end-to-end tracking, delivering faster time-to-market, lower print costs versus traditional shops, and improved deliverability and campaign visibility.
