Congress.Cards - Customer Case Study

Congress.Cards is a political advocacy platform that helps people in the US contact their representatives in Congress through direct mail. As public frustration grew in 2020 and congressional offices became harder to reach by phone, the company needed a simple, reliable way for constituents to get messages seen and recorded. They used Lob’s direct mail and Address Verification tools to power that experience.

With Lob, Congress.Cards automated postcard mailing through the API so users could create and send postcards for $2 each, with the mailing process starting as soon as they hit send. The solution helped Congress.Cards send thousands of postcards urging action on police reform and racial justice legislation, while also donating thousands of dollars to causes like the NAACP Legal Defense Fund. Lob’s reporting also supported accounting and quarterly donation payouts, making the platform easier to operate at scale.
