GenoLogics is a Canadian provider of cloud-based laboratory information management systems for proteomics and genomics labs. GenoLogics deployed LivePerson’s LiveEngage platform with rules-based, proactive chat invitations and easy agent tools (visitor browsing history, push links) that agents handle alongside other sales duties. In the first three months the channel averaged a few chats per week but proved high-impact: live chat assisted 7% of closed deals and 5% of total sales revenue, supported 5% of pipeline revenue, and shortened the sales cycle by about four weeks—generating incremental business the company believes would not have closed otherwise.
