Fox Rent A Car is a Los Angeles–based car rental company founded in 1989 that operates in 17 major US airports. Facing the challenge of improving web-based reservations and expanding communication channels, Marketing Manager Jakub Kopiczak sought an online alternative to phone and email to simplify the reservation process and enhance the customer experience on www.foxrentacar.com.
In February 2012 Fox launched LiveChat, growing from 5 initial agents to 36 and using tools like message sneak peek and canned responses to handle up to 800 chats a day (as many as 25 simultaneous). The chat produced a steady stream of new leads, boosted customer satisfaction, and provided a scalable platform that will expand alongside Fox’s growth into Florida.
