District 49 added LiveChat across its main site and school sites, staffed by 15 agents who use photos, proactive greetings and transfers to specialized departments, with after-hours contact forms for messages. The result: quicker, more personal responses, fewer frustrated calls and emails, and stronger district–parent relationships—evidenced by 210 chats and 81 tickets handled in one month and positive parent feedback.
