DuPont, a global science and engineering conglomerate serving 100,000 customers in 175 countries, faced an unwieldy digital footprint of roughly 1,200 distinct sites and 50,000 pages that lacked brand consistency and local relevance. Tasked with streamlining, standardizing and localizing its online presence while improving agility and reducing complexity, DuPont partnered with Lionbridge (and Adobe) to leverage Adobe Experience Manager alongside Lionbridge’s translation and project-submission platform to create a scalable, centrally managed multilingual publishing model.
Lionbridge integrated with DuPont’s AEM instance via an AEM connector to automate secure content submission, translation/transcreation, and publication, supported by dedicated project managers, glossaries, and SEO work in market. The results included 27 in‑brand country sites launched in the first seven months and 48 sites live overall, one‑touch translation and publishing workflows, reduced errors and faster time‑to‑market, and the ability to handle surges in demand (nearly a 300% spike in PPE page views during COVID). DuPont subsequently engaged Lionbridge for a second site refresh, underscoring measurable operational and global-content improvements.
