Multinational Food Processing Company engaged Lionbridge to support a critical SAP global rollout that would standardize disparate systems acquired across the business. The challenge was to translate all internal communications, training and change-management materials into more than 50 languages quickly while modernizing terminology assets and managing hundreds of reviewers — a task the customer scoped as SAP translation services using Lionbridge’s capabilities.

Lionbridge implemented its SAP translation process and Lionbridge Language Cloud portal, onboarding hundreds of reviewers, streamlining workflows with SharePoint status trackers and automated reports, and improving glossaries and the Do Not Translate list. The engagement delivered 7 million words into 51 languages within six months, streamlined the review process, and met rollout deadlines; the customer has contracted Lionbridge for additional SAP rollouts in 2024 and 2025.
