24 Hour Home Care, a home-health services provider headquartered in El Segundo, CA, relies on referrals from hospital case managers and social workers to acquire clients. Because hospitals are busy and restrict outside access—and because healthcare has been slower to adopt social media—it was difficult for the field sales team to find and maintain relationships with new referral contacts. Seeing a shift in industry use of LinkedIn, the company looked for a way to extend its reach.
Mid-2019 they piloted LinkedIn Sales Navigator, using Saved Searches to track new hires and milestones and rolling the tool out progressively with shared best practices. The team quickly expanded the license and began doubling the number of hospital contacts reached on rounds (from about 10–15 to 20–25), set up 20 new meetings via the tool, and increased outreach efficiency and referral-driven business—helping the company further its “care and complete” mission.
