Chase for Business partnered with LinkedIn to raise awareness and deepen engagement for its Mission Main Street Grants program, aiming to support small and medium businesses. The challenge was reaching a diverse audience of small business owners at different growth stages with content that was both insightful and inspirational, while overcoming limited brand awareness and competitive messaging.

LinkedIn delivered a targeted, multi-touch campaign—Sponsored Content, display ads, email, blog posts, a one-click LinkedIn API registration, applicant toolkits, a webcast and a Small Business Bootcamp—that simplified participation and educated entrepreneurs. The 2015 campaign drove 30,000 registrants (an 18% increase), 35% of applications via the API, 1.7 million votes, a 70% lower cost-per-visitor, Sponsored Content engagement 200% above benchmarks, display CTRs 150% above benchmarks, and 2x platform benchmarks for announcement performance, with 70% of Sponsored Content engagement from entrepreneurial small business owners.
