Whatfix is a San Jose–headquartered digital adoption platform (SaaS) founded in 2014 that helps enterprises improve product adoption and user productivity with AI. To expand in priority markets (North America and Europe) it initially pursued narrow, quick‑win decision‑maker segments and ran ABM programs on LinkedIn, but by FY21 performance began to plateau as those audiences were exhausted.
In FY22, working with LinkedIn Marketing Solutions, Whatfix broadened campaign targeting from HRIS, L&D and Sales Ops to include the full buying committee—Finance, Procurement and IT implementation—tripling its audience without sacrificing quality. The shift produced a 59% increase in lead volume and 48% more opportunities while cutting Cost Per Lead by 64% and Cost Per Opportunity by 62%, setting up sustainable international growth.
