The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL), a Greensboro-based nonprofit focused on leadership development, was already seeing strong engagement from LinkedIn Live—about 11,000 views on average—but the sales team struggled to promote live sessions from the company page and to understand who was actually attending. CCL wanted a clearer snapshot of followers and industry interest so they could better target audiences and demonstrate value to prospective clients.
CCL used LinkedIn Events to host a one-day, seven-session conference on leadership during COVID, linking to a gated landing page with downloadable materials to capture leads. The campaign drove 4,000 registrations, averaged 3,150 views per session, generated 20,000+ video views and nearly 3,000 comments in one day, and captured about 2,500 more email leads than event attendees—while enabling the sales team to more intentionally invite and engage targeted audiences.
