Sysdig, a San Francisco–based cloud and container security company, needed to reach a small, hard-to-find audience of cloud and security architects and DevOps leaders and position itself as a trusted advisor through their journey to cloud-native operations. Traditional channels and trade shows were no longer sufficient, so the team faced the dual challenge of engaging niche prospects and accelerating conversions.

Sysdig used LinkedIn ABM tools, Lead Gen Forms and Conversation Ads to promote a live virtual product announcement (with a T‑shirt giveaway), sending peer-style messages from actual employees and A/B testing sender roles for relevance. The campaign drove a few hundred registrations in 10 days at under $50 CPL—less than half their usual cost—while Lead Gen Form completion rates exceeded 70% and peaked above 90%, producing faster, higher-quality conversions.
