SCHOTT raises glass consciousness with captivating video stories

SCHOTT, a 130+-year manufacturer of specialty glass and glass-ceramics, launched its Opportunity Lab to inspire innovators and position the company as a thought leader. The challenge was to reach senior R&D and engineering decision-makers, spark conversations about unconventional glass applications, and gather insights on industry innovation roadmaps—needs that required precise, professional targeting and measurable engagement.

SCHOTT created 30–60 second video stories illustrating future glass technologies, supported them with in-depth content hubs, and ran LinkedIn Sponsored Content targeted by function and seniority while using engagement data to refine audiences. The campaign earned over 1.6 million impressions, increased visits to the Opportunity Lab by 250%, achieved video CTRs up to 6% (outperforming CTR benchmarks by 10x and VTR by 2x), and established LinkedIn as the main external channel driving Opportunity Lab engagement.
