With millions of educators on LinkedIn and aligned missions around productivity and professional development, Microsoft launched a pilot to better engage this niche audience.

The team ran targeted LinkedIn Sponsored Updates directing educators to a dedicated microsite, OneNoteForTeachers.com, featuring interactive training and step‑by‑step guides. The campaign doubled performance versus benchmarks, driving strong results (overall CTR .46%, engagement rate .54%, 22% additional earned media; top post .84% CTR, primary target .66%) and increased reach and engagement; Microsoft plans to continue an “always‑on” approach and adopt full‑funnel LinkedIn products.
