L'Oréal reaches 2,000 viewers with LinkedIn Marketing Solutions

L'Oréal faced the challenge of recreating its annual Brandstorm student innovation competition as a digital event during the COVID-19 pandemic. The beauty brand needed to drive engagement among students and talent sources for its 2020 final, which had nearly 48,000 participants, while supporting an ambitious game show format with global presenters. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor LinkedIn Marketing Solutions.

The solution implemented by LinkedIn Marketing Solutions involved integrating LinkedIn Live and LinkedIn Events to create a bespoke digital experience. This was supported by organic and paid promotion. The results were record-breaking, with just under 2,000 unique viewers for the final and over 8.5 million people reached by the extended campaign, more than doubling the previous year's reach. The event also generated significant engagement with 947 comments and over 1,100 hours of viewing time.
