While already active on LinkedIn organically, the marketing team wanted a results-driven way to promote major campaigns and special content, so they experimented with LinkedIn paid ads to drive qualified leads rather than general engagement.
Knotch produced a high-value ebook, The 2020 State of Content Careers Report, and used LinkedIn’s targeting tools and creative testing to reach content marketers by job title and company size. The campaign delivered strong results—more than 1,100 downloads, a notable increase in high-quality leads, improved conversion metrics, and enough success that Knotch shifted more of its ad investment to LinkedIn for future events and content offers.
