Investing in ad content personalization maximizes engagement and lead generation

Dassault Systèmes, a leader in simulation software, wanted to demonstrate how its disruptive solutions address sustainability challenges in pharmaceutical manufacturing and to generate qualified leads among pharma and biotech decision-makers across North America, Europe and Asia‑Pacific. The challenge was to engage new industry audiences and drive MQLs while testing ad creative and formats to find the highest-performing approach.

Working with LinkedIn and content partner Story Jungle, the team used personalized messaging, localized imagery, Sponsored Content and Conversation Ads with integrated lead-gen forms, plus A/B tests of formats (square vs. vertical) and sender profiles. Targeting by interest and job title boosted reach, and the campaign outperformed benchmarks — delivering a 13.8% lift in CTR, 27% higher engagement and a 76.6% increase in form fill rate — ultimately exceeding lead goals.
