Invest Qatar attracts scores of new investors with full-funnel marketing on LinkedIn

Invest Qatar, the country’s investment promotion agency, set out to showcase Qatar as a top destination for foreign investment and to raise brand recognition among senior business decision‑makers across the US, UK, Europe and Asia. Launched in 2019, the organisation’s challenge was to expand international networks and engage executives across sectors such as Professional Services, Real Estate, Technology and Manufacturing.

Working with LinkedIn, Invest Qatar ran a multi‑touch campaign—building awareness and followers, promoting a multilingual Guide to Investment, publishing in‑depth sector studies, and retargeting engaged audiences with practical guidance on starting a business in Qatar. Using sponsored content, document ads and lead‑gen forms, the campaign reached 5 million decision‑makers, drove document ad CTRs of 4.4% (4× benchmark), achieved 1.4% engagement (130% above benchmark), delivered a 20% lift in brand recall, grew followers 4× and reached an audience that was 44% VP level or higher, while generating strong website traffic and numerous leads.
