ADP, long known for payroll, wanted to reposition itself as a broader Human Capital Management thought leader and raise its brand profile beyond payroll. With a minimal and fragmented social presence, the company needed to increase engagement and viral reach while showcasing expertise in HR, benefits, talent management and related services.

ADP consolidated and relaunched its LinkedIn Company Page, refreshed visuals and the Products & Services tab, curated content (including insights from the newly launched ADP Research Institute) and used targeted Sponsored Content to reach defined audiences. In one year followers doubled from 40,000 to 85,000, impressions rose from ~300/month to 1.3 million/month, non‑employee followers now make up 70% of the audience, LinkedIn became ADP’s top social referrer to ADP.com, and a majority of likes and clicks came from non‑followers—demonstrating substantial increases in engagement and viral reach.
