Cetera Financial Group, which supports more than 9,700 independent financial professionals and 500 institutions, faced the common financial-services marketing challenge of breaking through limited, email-only engagement to reach and personally engage its target audience—including finance professionals at very small firms. By integrating LinkedIn Network Display and Lead Accelerator with Oracle Eloqua, Cetera added targeted display and social ads to its email nurture programs and ran anonymous nurture campaigns for past site visitors. In three months LinkedIn drove more than 900 new finance visitors, lifted pageviews by 27% and visits per visitor by 13%, and helped generate nearly $1 million (about $960,000) in new business.
