Celonis, a leading execution management systems platform, planned the sequel to its Celosphere Live after pivoting the conference to a virtual format in 2020. The marketing team’s brief was to target key personas at accounts in the new-business pipeline, drive relevant high-quality registrations, amplify reach and engagement during the live event, and leverage on-demand content to continue nurturing prospects.
They integrated Celonis’ events platform with LinkedIn Events, ran persona-based, tailored ads across formats (1,437 ad variations), streamed keynotes via LinkedIn Live and executed in-platform retargeting. Within weeks the campaign secured registrations from all target pipeline accounts and drove over 2,000 advance registrations; LinkedIn Live added 4,000 views, reached 80,000 via notifications and generated 225 additional registrations during the event, while creating evergreen content for ongoing engagement.
