Esperanto, a Lower East Side restaurant open for more than 17 years, struggled for years with manual processes and multiple POS systems that never quite fit their needs. They eventually adopted Upserve POS, seeking a solution that would improve coordination between front-of-house and kitchen operations and replace their paper-based workflows.
Upserve POS delivered a transparent, easy-to-learn restaurant POS with remote access and regular emailed reports, allowing managers and the owner to monitor shifts and sales off-site. As a result, Esperanto improved internal communication and shift coordination, reduced the burden of on-the-job training, and benefited from managers’ feedback that Upserve POS is much easier to use than prior systems.
