How TGV Cinemas increased customer lifetime value by closing the gap between data and customer experiences

TGV Cinemas, one of Malaysia’s leading cinema chains, struggled with siloed and scattered customer profiles, limited visibility into the value of its loyalty program, and slow access to insights needed for personalized marketing. To address these challenges, TGV worked with Lexer and its Customer Data & Experience Platform (CDXP) to unify customer data and better understand audience behavior, motivations, and visitation patterns.

Lexer implemented a unified customer view across marketing, CRM, and guest experience data, enriched with attributes such as visit frequency, preferred locations, and film-language preferences. As a result, TGV doubled email open rates, increased its NPS score by 34%, and grew loyalty members’ visit frequency to nearly twice that of non-members per quarter, helping the brand become more customer-focused and improve lifetime value.
