Spyder, the world’s largest specialty snowsports brand, needed a clearer view of who its highest‑value customers were so it could retain them and cost‑effectively acquire more like them. Working with Lexer — specifically the Lexer Customer Data Platform using Lexer Identify and Lexer Activate — Spyder set out to unify e‑commerce, email and product data to segment customers and target lookalike prospects.
Lexer created a single customer view, identified three high‑value personas and ran tailored Facebook lookalike campaigns to grow quality prospects. The Lexer solution revealed the top 20% of customers drive 81% of revenue (top 5% = 67%), helped Spyder grow its email database by 85%, reduce acquisition costs, and lift email campaign revenue (promotional campaigns saw a 94% uplift and content EDMs +52%).
